"Children and young people experience a warm and caring approach from staff who know
them very well. Children and young people enjoy a range of activities both on-site and in
the community such as youth clubs, shopping and trips to the cafe. This enhances their
life experiences and social skills. Consequently, children and young people enjoy their
stays here and look forward to coming. One parent commented about her child, ‘She is
happy to go. She loves it there.’"

"My child has come on leaps and bounds since he started Barndale School. I've nothing but admiration for all concerned with the dedication of his teaching and his well-being. I love attending my visits to Barndale School. Everyone is so friendly it just feels like one big happy family. What is more important, my child loves going to school. He is so happy and content. I have no problems getting my child off to school, he can't wait to get there. My child attends boarding for respite, again everyone is doing an excellent job. They provide lots of activities for the children, a huge amount of support aiding their independence and their safety rules are second to none. School nurses and office staff do a brilliant job too and not to mention the Headmaster for doing a fantastic job running his school".
"Residential provision has provided my daughter with a fantastic opportunity to practice not only her social skills but her independent living skills alongside her peers within a happy, safe environment with wonderful staff."
